Happenings at Happy's

Wouldn't it be great to work at a place called "Happy's"?  Well, it is and I work there every Wednesday 10:00AM to 5PM.  I have had several people ask me how things are going at Happy's so I wanted to share some pictures of things I have sold in the last month or so...

I have sold several "love you" frames made with scrabble letters.

My best seller by far has been the jewelry frames...the one in the middle and one on the right has sold.

The zebra rug and the "extended hanger thing" above the table sold in December.

These cute cups just recently sold for half price...after Christmas Sale.

This ottoman was given to me by a friend and I recovered it...it sold in December.

This sign sold in December.

This is my Family Rules and it sold in December...I am going to make more of these but put them in large picture frames...I have 2 more of these in different colors...I am selling them for $10 because they are made with paper and fabric.

Sold in December.

I was selling these glasses for a friend...they sold at our Christmas Open House at Happy's.

The memo board sold in December.

Here are a few things I am getting ready to take to the shop.

I wish I had done before and after photos so you could see things from the beginning.

So here are several projects I am working on where I am taking before pictures!

My goal is to have a set for a little girl's room...I am thinking about painting it white or maybe a very pale pink.  What do you think?

A New Year

Can I just tell you that the past year has been a real adventure.  I never expected to be retired from education so soon (perhaps when my youngest graduated from college).  I never expected to be trying out a new business.  It was never on my radar screen . And I never expected to have a blog site.  Me, the one who is so totally ill equipped to use the computer, cell phone, and even the TV remote.  So it is not a total s-t-r-etch to think that the title of my business and blog includes "Unexpected".  The blog title was chosen for many reasons and some of those I will share later.

As I enter into my 2nd year I am wondering what lies ahead.  Let me share a few pictures of my workspace...my garage...or as Larry (my husband) says, "you've taken over my man cave".

What a mess!  I always say I am the most organized, unorganized person I know.  Anyway there are projects awaiting among all that stuff.

Stay tuned!
