To Frame or not to Frame...

I go to a lot of yard sales, thrift stores, and clearance or discount shelves at every store I go in.  I just love, love, love finding a deal.  One of the things I am attracted to is picture frames...all kinds...colors...shapes...sizes.  There are so many things you can do with a frame like...

...turning a frame into a way to display jewelry.  The earrings hang in the mesh (middle section) and necklaces on the hooks at the bottom.  This would be cute hung in your bathroom or walk-in closet.  When the jewelry is on there, it looks like a work of art.

Okay.  Yes, the cook deserves some accolades  every now and then!

Large message board.

Large message board.  I really like this material.  (If I could redecorate my home...it would have more white and tan.)

Small message board...I really like blue and green together.  Fabric is so beautiful.  I could stay a half of a day just browsing...did you know we are getting a JoAnn's...beside Walmart.  Whoohoo!

Here is a small version of Family Rules...a more whimsical, clean cut take on rules than I have made before.

I have been using Chalk Contact Paper for several things lately.  So I just put the contact paper onto the glass...now you can write whatever message you want.  Ohh, so many possibilities.

Inspirational blessing and saying...

A whimsical display of women's gloves...you probably would not see this anywhere else...I went to an auction and found some really "cool ladies gloves".  They are too pretty to sit in a drawer and who could bear to throw them out.  Doesn't it take you back to a different time?

I found this cute frame designed like a purse and "voila"...Girls just want to have fun!  Fits   right?
If you back up to the last picture you catch a glimpse of my "Momisms".  I have already talked about those in a previous blog...the cute or annoying things that mom used to say to make a point.

Here is another one!

I have also made truths to live by...I just love the way all these frames come together as one big display.

Aren't you amazed with all the things you can do with a frame?  And there is so m-u-c-h more.

My next post will involve you and frames,
so be on the look out!

Remember,
God is always at work around us
and often shows Himself
in the most “unexpected” ways.

  3. One of my favorite sayings is:
Each day comes bearing it's gifts. Untie the ribbons.
This is not original by me but was written by Ann Ruth Schabaker and copied years ago by me.
I invited my sister to join your blog.
